About this app

Hermes Calendar is a private, self-hosted personal assistant application. It automates scheduling, email, and document tasks for its owner, Wilson Hailey, using Google services the owner has explicitly authorized.

Hermes Calendar is used exclusively by its owner. It is not a public service and is not offered to other users.

Features

• Calendar automation: Creates and updates Google Calendar events, and syncs the family calendar to a private local calendar server so it stays available at home.
• Email assistance: Reads, sends, and organizes Gmail messages on the owner's behalf.
• File and document management: Manages Google Drive files, and reads and creates Google Sheets and Docs.
• Contacts reference: Reads Google Contacts to support the owner's workflows.

Data access

To provide the features above, Hermes Calendar requests access to the following data from the owner's own Google account. This access is used only to perform tasks the owner initiates, and never for advertising, selling data, or any third-party purpose.

Google data	Why the app needs it
Google Calendar	Create and update events; sync the family calendar to the owner's private server.
Gmail	Read, send, and manage email on the owner's behalf.
Google Drive	Read and upload files when the owner asks.
Google Contacts	Read contact information for reference.
Google Sheets and Docs	Read and create spreadsheets and documents.

Access can be reviewed or revoked at any time from the Google account permissions page. Revoking access immediately stops all data access.
